Tip-only rhinoplasty — is it a thing or will they always push full rhino?

My bridge is fine, I just have a bulbous tip. Every consult video I watch seems to turn into "and we'll also raise the bridge with silicone". Is it normal to ask for just the tip?

Totally a normal request. You can literally say "tip plasty only, no implant" and see who respects that.

How a clinic reacts to "no" is a good test of the clinic tbh.

Ask what cartilage they'd use for the tip (septum/ear/rib) and why. That's where the real differences in recovery are.
