Korean derm clinics: lasers, boosters and injectables decoded

Seoul's dermatology clinics are a big draw: lots of options and competitive prices. The menus can be overwhelming, though.

Read the menu

  • Skin boosters: Rejuran, Juvelook, Profhilo, skin botox. See the skin booster glossary
  • Lasers: pico, Clarity, Genesis, fractional resurfacing
  • Tightening devices: Ulthera, Shurink, Inmode, Thermage
  • Injectables: botox (several brands) and fillers

Before you book any package

  • Which exact device or product (brand name), and how many shots, units or lines?
  • Who does it: a doctor or staff?
  • Is numbing included? What's the downtime?
  • Does the price include VAT and aftercare products?
  • What's the refund if you only use part of a package?
  • It's normal to ask to see the vial or box before an injection

Walk-ins and timing

Many clinics take walk-ins, but popular ones book out, especially weekends. Walk-in derm clinics for tourists

Aftercare

Protect your skin barrier after lasers and be strict with sunscreen. Mineral formulas are often gentler on irritated skin. Sunscreen after laser · Stocking up at Olive Young
