By creating an account or using looksmaxit.com (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and the Community rules. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
1. Not medical advice
LooksMaxIt is a peer discussion forum. Content on the Site is shared by members and is not medical advice, diagnosis or a recommendation of any clinic, doctor or procedure. We don't verify members' claims. Always consult a qualified, licensed medical professional before making decisions about surgery or treatment. In an emergency, contact your clinic or local emergency services.
2. Who can use the Site
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You may not use the Site if you work for, are paid by, or receive commission from a clinic, hospital, broker, agency or other business that promotes cosmetic procedures, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
- One account per person. You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity on your account.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. By posting, you give LooksMaxIt a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, format and distribute your content on and in connection with the Site (for example in search results and social previews). This licence ends when you delete the content, except where it has been shared by others or must be kept for legal reasons.
You confirm you have the right to post your content and that it doesn't break these Terms or the law.
4. What's not allowed
- Advertising, promotion, referral links, discount codes or soliciting patients — including undisclosed paid or incentivised posts.
- Fake reviews or testimonials, or impersonating anyone.
- Harassment, hate, threats, body-shaming or encouraging self-harm.
- Posting other people's photos or personal information without consent, or any sexual content involving minors.
- Selling prescription drugs or offering medical services; dangerous or misleading medical claims.
- Spam, vote manipulation, scraping, or attempts to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the Site.
- Anything illegal in the Republic of Korea or where you live.
5. Moderation
We may remove content, remove points, or suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or the Community rules, or that we reasonably believe put members at risk, with or without notice. You can report content with the Report link on any post or comment. To start and guide discussions, members of the LooksMaxIt team also post and comment on the Site.
6. Third-party links
Members may link to other websites. We don't control or endorse them and aren't responsible for their content or practices.
7. Disclaimers
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about the accuracy, reliability or availability of the Site or any content on it, and we're not responsible for decisions you make based on content posted by members.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LooksMaxIt and its operators won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or any loss arising from your use of the Site or reliance on member content, including the outcome of any medical procedure. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited under applicable law.
9. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Sections 3 (as to content already shared), 7, 8 and 10 continue after your account ends.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. If you're a consumer, you keep any protections the law of your country gives you that can't be waived.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. We'll change the date above and, for significant changes, post a notice. Continuing to use the Site after changes means you accept them.
