I've been reading for about two months and still feel like I don't know enough to message anyone. At what point did you just send the first message? Did it actually help to message early?
Messaging early taught me more than reading did, honestly. Their answers (and how fast/how pushy) tell you a lot. You're not committing to anything by asking.
I sent my first few after ~3 weeks. Have a clear photo set and a short description of what you want ready, that's all you need.
Just do it. You'll learn which clinics to cross off fast.
