How long do surgeons usually want you to wait before talking revision?

Asking for planning reasons, not because of a bad result. I keep seeing "wait a year" but is that for everything?

  • From what I've read, many surgeons want the tissue fully settled before judging, so it's often months to a year depending on the procedure (noses tend to be on the longer end). Your own surgeon is the right person to give a timeline.

  • Worth asking at the first consult what their revision policy is, if any. Nobody wants to think about it but it's useful to know before paying.

Also keep your own photos at fixed intervals. Helps any future conversation a lot.

Photos at fixed intervals, same lighting. Saving that tip.
