Ptosis correction — is it a medical or cosmetic thing?

A clinic said I have mild ptosis (eyelid drooping) and that's why my eyes look tired. Is this something I could get checked at home first?

Definitely worth an opinion from an eye doctor/oculoplastic surgeon at home first. In some countries it's even covered if it affects vision.

Related to my asymmetry question. Sounds like mild ptosis can be both functional and cosmetic, so ask how they measure it.

If it's functional it can matter for insurance back home in some countries. Worth checking your own system.
